These Terms of Use apply to the website, digital tools, resources and services provided by Primary Maths Craft, operated by Marvel Education Ltd. By using this website, purchasing a product, generating resources or accessing any Primary Maths Craft tool, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. About Primary Maths Craft

Primary Maths Craft provides educational resources, blog content, digital tools and classroom-support materials for primary mathematics teaching.

InterventionPack — diagnostic and intervention tools for identifying pupil misconceptions and supporting targeted intervention.
ArithmeticPack — a free arithmetic slide-deck generator that creates arithmetic practice slides from Primary Maths Craft question banks.

2. Educational use only

Our resources and tools are provided for educational support only. They are designed to support teacher planning, retrieval practice, fluency, diagnostic thinking and intervention planning. They are not a replacement for professional judgement, school assessment policies, safeguarding procedures or teacher decision-making.

Teachers and schools remain responsible for checking that generated resources, diagnostic outputs and intervention materials are suitable for their pupils, curriculum sequence and school context.

3. InterventionPack

InterventionPack is a diagnostic and intervention tool. Depending on the product purchased or accessed, it may include pupil diagnostic forms, misconception mapping, individual pupil reports, class summary spreadsheets, school overview dashboards, phase-based intervention guidance and linked teaching or worksheet resources.

InterventionPack is intended to support professional judgement. It does not provide a formal clinical, statutory or high-stakes assessment. Diagnostic outputs should be reviewed by a teacher or school leader before decisions are made about intervention, grouping, reporting or curriculum planning.

4. ArithmeticPack

ArithmeticPack is a free arithmetic slide-deck generator. Users select a year group, half-term and number of weeks required. The tool then generates slide decks automatically from Primary Maths Craft question banks and templates.

Generated ArithmeticPack slides should be reviewed before use with pupils. Automatically generated resources may contain errors, formatting issues, unsuitable pitch for a particular class, or content that requires adaptation.

ArithmeticPack may be provided free of charge, but the question banks, templates, structure, design and branding remain the intellectual property of Primary Maths Craft / Marvel Education Ltd.

5. User responsibilities

When using our website, resources or tools, you agree that you will:

check all generated resources before using them with pupils;
use professional judgement when interpreting diagnostic results;
ensure content is suitable for your pupils and school context;
avoid uploading unnecessary personal data;
not upload pupil names, pupil data or sensitive personal data unless a tool specifically requires it;
only upload school logos or images where you have permission to do so;
not attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, copy or misuse our systems;
not use our resources for unlawful, harmful or misleading purposes.

6. Licence and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, Primary Maths Craft resources are licensed for use by the purchasing, requesting or authorised teacher, school or organisation.

You may:

use the resources for teaching in your own school or setting;
adapt generated slides for your own classroom use;
print or share resources internally within your authorised school or organisation;
use diagnostic outputs to support teaching and intervention planning.

You must not:

resell our resources;
redistribute them publicly;
upload them to public resource-sharing websites;
publish them as your own;
include them in commercial products;
remove copyright notices or branding;
copy or recreate our templates, question banks, systems or resource structure for competing products.

The original templates, question banks, branding, diagnostic structures, misconception mapping, reports and generated resource systems remain the intellectual property of Primary Maths Craft / Marvel Education Ltd.

7. Account access and licences

Some tools or resources may require purchase, account access, licence activation or onboarding. Where a licence is provided for a fixed period, access may end when the licence expires unless renewed.

We may suspend or remove access where payment has not been completed, a licence has expired, a product is misused, access is shared outside the permitted user or organisation, or these Terms of Use are breached.

8. Payments

Payments may be taken through our website using WooCommerce and/or third-party payment processors. We do not directly store full payment card details. Payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider.

Prices, licence terms and product details will be shown at checkout or on the relevant product page.

9. Cancellations, refunds and digital access

For paid digital products, cancellation and refund rights may depend on whether access to digital content or services has already started. Where digital content or a digital service is supplied immediately, you may be asked to confirm that you want immediate access and understand that you may lose your cancellation right once access begins.

Refunds may not be provided where a digital product has been accessed or used, diagnostic links or resources have been generated, digital content has been delivered, or a licence has been activated, unless required by law.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have where digital content is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care.

10. Generated files and storage

Generated ArithmeticPack slide decks are stored temporarily in our Google Drive output system. Generated slide links will remain available for approximately 6 months. Users should make their own copy into their own Google Drive if they want to keep or edit the slides permanently.

We may delete generated files after the availability period. We are not responsible for loss of access where users have not made their own copy before the expiry period.

11. Google Drive and third-party services

Some Primary Maths Craft tools use Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Apps Script, WordPress, WooCommerce, Mailchimp and other third-party services. Use of these services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

For InterventionPack, schools may create or share Google Drive folders and documents so that outputs can be written to school-owned files. Schools are responsible for ensuring that sharing permissions are appropriate.

12. Optional school logo uploads

ArithmeticPack may allow users to upload a school logo. By uploading a logo, you confirm that you have permission to use the logo and that it can be used to personalise the generated slide deck. Uploaded logos should not contain pupil information or sensitive personal data.

13. Blog updates and mailing list

Users may choose to receive blog updates, pedagogical discussion and Primary Maths Craft email updates. Marketing and blog email consent is optional and separate from tool use. Users can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

14. Availability of the website and tools

We aim to keep the website and tools available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Access may be affected by maintenance, technical faults, third-party service outages, Google, WordPress, WooCommerce, email or hosting issues, updates to our systems, misuse or unusually high demand.

We may update, change, suspend or withdraw tools or resources where necessary.

15. Accuracy of resources

We take care when designing question banks, templates, diagnostic materials and intervention resources. However, we do not guarantee that resources will be error-free or suitable for every pupil, class, school, curriculum sequence or assessment context. Users are responsible for checking resources before use.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Maths Craft / Marvel Education Ltd accepts no liability for teaching outcomes, assessment outcomes, decisions made using generated resources, errors not identified before classroom use, disruption caused by technical issues, use of resources outside the permitted licence, or failure to make copies of generated resources before expiry.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The version published on our website will apply at the time you use the website, generate a resource, purchase a product or access a tool.
